Lisa Mansour has worked in senior living for over 20 years. She had led both nonprofit and for-profit senior living communities and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She is also a Certified Eden Alternative Associate and is passionate about Person Centered Care. She has a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors by delivering quality services, innovative programs, and most importantly, meaningful connections and relationships. She earned both her Bachelors’ degree in Long Term Care Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration locally. She was involved with the coalition when it was founded in 2005 and served on the education committee.
Lori Presser, BSHA, ACC/EDU, CADDCT, CDP, CEAL, MDEC
Lori Presser has worked in senior living for over 20 years in various roles across the senior realm—Operations, Marketing, Activities and Business Development. Lori has a Bachelor of Science and Healthcare Administration and is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in Ohio that holds multiple certifications that enhance seniors’ lives. Lori is currently President of The Northeast Ohio Association of Activity Professionals, the Vice President of The National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, President of Ohio Person Centered Care Coalition, and a Volunteer Guardian. Lori is an advocate for seniors and senior living professionals providing person-centered care and person-centered employment opportunities.
Jennifer Krupa, CADDCT, ACC/EDU, CDP, AC-BC, MDEC
Jennifer is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Lifelong Learning at Lorain County Community College. She coordinates the educational classes and trips for students over 50. Her background includes 21 years in Long Term Care as an Activity Director; teaching training classes for Activity professionals and consulting in many area nursing homes. Jennifer has co-authored Activities Keep me Going and Going I and II, used nationally as text for the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals. She is a certified activity consultant and educator with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, Activity Consultant Board Certified with the National Association of Activity Professionals Credentialing Center, Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Care Trainer with the National Certification Council of Dementia Practitioners.
Dr. Katy Abbott, PhD, MGS
Associate Professor of Gerontology
Miami University | Scripps Gerontology Center
Dr. Katy Abbott is an Associate Professor of Gerontology and a Scripps Gerontology Center Research Fellow at Miami University in Oxford, OH. She teaches graduate courses in Qualitative Research Methods and Organizations and the Aging Enterprise. Her research and teaching focuses on preference-based person-centered care and the social networks and health of older adults receiving long-term services and supports. She is the co-founder of Preference Based Living, whose mission is to conduct studies that build understanding of individual preferences and test innovative methods to honor preferences for people receiving long-term services and supports. Katy is also a Certified Zentangle Teacher and lives in Oxford with her husband, also an MGS grad, and their daughter.
Dionne Nicol, LNHA

Dublin Assisted Living and Memory Support
Dionne has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1998 and has worked in skilled nursing for over 19 years. She has been the co-lead for the person centered care education committee and fully implemented person centered care in Crown Pointe Care Center and Darby Glenn. She has experience initiating universal workers, removing all get up schedules and allowing residents to rise on own. Crown Pointe was a mentor to other communities looking to put person centered care in place. In 2017, she became the Assistant Executive Director at Dublin Retirement Village and in 2021 became the Executive Director. She is also very involved in the Alzheimer’s Association raising $52,000 in 2022 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
